To fit into the new situation of the international education under the global epidemic and keep the overseas young people and social elite’s passion to learn and understand current China so as to enhance their understanding of Chinese and foreign language and culture and the communication of Chinese and foreign language education, School of International Education, South China University of Technology positively develop a new online course. It is designed with an online program with the theme of “Innovation: China’s Greater Bay Area”. Here is a brief introduction to the program. 1. Topic of the program: Chinese Bridge –“Innovation: China’s Greater Bay Area”Online Program 2. The theme of the program: It is aimed at make a profound introduction of special lecture about modern economy, artificial intelligence, urban transportation and others in the Greater Bay Area; meanwhile, it would spread Chinese language and culture and publicize the future development tendency of the Greater Bay Area, telling the Chinese story by showing the new achievement of economy and technology in the Greater Bay Area, so as to enhance the friendship, understanding and mutual-trust between the Chinese and foreign young people. 3. Course arrangement: This is a three-week online professional lecture and Chinese cultural education from October 11-30, 2021. Relevant teachers of the South China University of Technology are invited to carefully prepare the course with the current hot spots and frontier fields are selected. The topics and contents of the lectures would be confirmed and the professional shooting company would be hired to record the videos, so as to provide direct and convenient teaching materials for the course. It is composed of 9 topics (including the introduction to the Greater Bay Area, introduction to artificial intelligence and its applications, e-commerce and block-chain application, Deepfake: an emerging AI technology, introduction to China’s smart city and its development, mobility introduction in China and so on), and 10 courses of Chinese culture (Chinese traditional festivals, tea and food, clothing, charming cities and so on). 4. Enrolment of Students: Over 150 students have been recruited by the program, and they are from Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Chile, Egypt and other 28 countries. Students would not know about the traditional Chinese culture but also know more about the development landscape of modern China through these courses, so that they could become the cultural disseminators between China and foreign countries and good Chinese
为适应全球疫情下国际教育新形势，保持海外青少年和社会人士中文学习、理解当代中国的热情，增进中外语言及文化的了解，加强中外语言教育交流，华南理工大学国际教育学院积极开发了新的线上网络课程，设计了以“创新：中国粤港澳大湾区”为主题的线上团组交流项目，以下是该项目的简单介绍：
1.项目主题：汉语桥 —“创新：中国粤港澳大湾区”线上团组交流项目
2.项目主旨：旨在就粤港澳大湾区现代经济、人工智能，城市交通等方面进行专题讲座介绍，同时传播中国语言和文化，宣传大湾区未来发展趋势，通过展现粤港澳经济、科技新成就讲好中国故事，加强中外青少年友好、理解、互信。
3.课程安排：该项目将于 2021 年 10 月 11 日—10 月 30 日进行为期三周的线上专业讲座和汉语文化教学。邀请华南理工大学相关课程教师精心打磨课程，选取时下热点和前沿领域，确定讲座主题和内容，并聘请专业摄影公司录制视频，为讲授课程提供直接、便利的教学素材。包括 9 节专题讲座（包括大湾区城市介绍、人工智能介绍及其应用、电子商务和区块链应用、人脸识别技术介绍、智慧城市发展介绍、中国移动交通工具介绍等等）、10 节中国文化课程（中国传统节日、茶艺美食、服饰、魅力城市等等）。
4.生源情况：本项目已招收学员 150 余人，来自泰国、马来西亚、印度尼西亚、孟加拉国、智利、埃及等 28 个国家。 学员们通过学习以上课程不但了解传统的中国文化，也会更加理解现代中国的发展面貌，成为中外国家之间的文化传播者，讲好中国故事。
