This course introduces what is Artificial Intelligence(AI) and shows examples of how AI affects our lives everywhere all the time. AI started from 1956, coined by American computer scientist John McCarthy. AI from the start embraced the idea of duplicating human faculties, self-improvement and language use. Recent years a revolution in both the content and the methodology of work in AI have happened. This course contains the latest technologies in AI, and offers new or expanded coverage of multiagent systems, robotics, deep learning algorithm and AI in cyberspace. Deep learning means artificial neural network with a deep structure. Cyberspace provides a platform for big data, such as sensors, mobile devices, IoT and various social media. Despite of its huge volume, instant sharing is more importance. How to combine algorithm by AI to handle huge data by cyberspace is an ongoing trend of development. Several examples of applying AI in cyberspace are introduced including intelligence recommender system, online advertising and various image/video related applications like image synthesis, segmentation, image generation, style transfer, etc.
