Shandong Normal University (SDNU) , the provincial key institution of higher education , is among the first batch of universities designated by Ministry of Education of China admitting Chinese Government Scholarship student, International Chinese Teachers’ Scholarship student (originally Confucius Institute Scholarship student) and Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship student. Since the year of 1983 when SDNU began to enroll international students, university has cultivated more than 20,000 short-term and long-term international students from nearly 70 countries and regions. As the Chinese language education base of Shandong Province, SDNU has successfully accepted several overseas Chinese language education short-term delegations.
