SDNU has two campuses in Lixia District and Changqing District which cover a land area of about 257 hectares and a building area of 2,560,000 square meters. It has established 46 research and training institutions in national level and above provincial and ministerial level, SDNU contains 21 schools, 67 undergraduate programs, 13 post-doctoral research stations, 15 first-level disciplines for doctorate degree granting, 34 first-level disciplines for master’s degree granting and 19 types of professional degree authorization which cover the top ten subjects and disciplines. It ranks as the top of all provincial colleges and universities in the amount of subjects and disciplines. The library has a collection of 3,469,400 volumes of books and periodicals, a collection of 1,416,700 volumes of  electronic books as well as 193 databases.

学校在历下区和长清区两地办学，总占地面积近3850亩（约256万平方米），建筑面积约135万平方米，设有46个国家级和省级教学、试验中心和基地。现有21个学院（部），67个招生本科专业，13个博士后科研流动站，15个博士学位授权一级学科、1个博士专业学位授权点、34个硕士学位授权一级学科、19个专业学位授权点，覆盖十大学科门类，学科、专业学位数量居省属高校前列。图书馆建筑面积61369平方米，馆藏纸质书刊346.94万册、电子图书141.67万册、数据库193个。

College of International Education （International Students’ Office）of Shandong Normal University (CIE/SDNU hereafter) is a teaching-and-administrative-oriented unit which mainly aims at accepting and training international students. CIE/SDNU is well-known for the teaching quality. CIE has a team of excellent teachers with reasonable talent echelon. They are dedicated to the teaching career and offer quality teaching with abundant scientific attainments. There are 33 full-time teachers giving Chinese language courses to the international students, among whom are 5 professors, 10 associate professors. Most of the full-time teachers have been teaching Chinese as a second language for many years and have the experience of teaching Chinese abroad. Dozens of countries have witnessed their teaching experiences, such as Korea, Japan, USA, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Sudan, UK, Egypt and Burma. All the experiences have enabled them to accumulate rich experience in teaching Chinese as a second language.                        

国际教育学院（留学生工作办公室）是我校培养外国留学生、国内外汉语国际教育专业学生的教学和管理单位。学院拥有一支热爱教育事业、学术造诣深、教学效果好、梯队结构合理的师资队伍，现有专任教师33人，其中教授5人，副教授10人。专任教师大多数具有在国外任教的经历，积累了丰富的对外汉语教学经验，具有较高的学术水平和较强的科研能力。

The College of International Education of SDNU has more than 30 years training experience of international students, and undertake various culture summer/winter camp for many times. The college can arrange the curriculum, organize and implement the cultural activity plan according to different objects, with the focus on the richness of the cultural connotation of activities, and through experiential interactive learning, make the campers understand Chinese culture through lively teaching and improve their interest in Chinese learning.

学院拥有三十余年的留学生培养经验，多次承接各类文化夏/冬令营活动，能够根据不同对象，合理安排课程设置、组织与实施文化活动方案，注重活动文化内涵的丰富性，通过体验式的互动学习，使营员在寓教于乐中领悟中华文化，提高汉语学习兴趣。

The main members of the project team have doctor's and master's degrees. Many team members have been engaged in the education reform at home and abroad, and have given lectures and exchanges in other countries for many times. They have solid theoretical foundation and rich practical experience, which ensure the smooth progress of the project. In particular, all members of the team have presided over or fully participated in the 2020 and 2021 "Chinese Bridge" online group exchange program, with rich experience, strong sense of responsibility and passion for international Chinese education. In addition, the College of International Education of SDNU has Master's Program in Teaching Chinese as a Second/Foreign Language, Chinese as a Foreign Language Research Center and Chinese Language Education and Training Base, which provide a good platform for this program. Finally, the College of International Education of SDNU has rich research resources. Relying on the research strength of various departments of Shandong Normal University, the College have carried out a large number of practical researches and accumulated rich achievements and experience, which has opened up an international perspective for the research of this program and provided convenient conditions for absorbing advanced theoretical and practical achievements.

该项目团队主要成员均有博士、硕士学位，多位研究者长期从事海内外教育改革、国际汉语教学研究、汉语国际传播等领域，并多次到其他国家授课、交流，有着坚实的理论功底和丰富的实践经验，保证了本项目的顺利进行。尤其是本团队所有成员均主持或全程参与了2020年、2021年“汉语桥”线上团组交流项目，经验丰富，责任心强，热爱国际中文教育事业。其次，单位拥有汉语国际教育硕士点，“对外汉语研究中心”“华文教育培养基地”等，为本项目研究提供了良好的平台。最后，山东师大国际教育学院研究资源丰厚，可聚力对国内外的资源进行梳理和借鉴。依托山东师范大学各院系研究力量，开展了大量的实践研究，积累了较丰富的成果和经验，为本项目的研究开拓了国际视野，为吸纳先进的理论和实践成果提供了便利条件。

特色课程

Guided by the design concept of "language + culture + communication", the summer camp program of “Travel around the world, accompany by Chinese” Summer cultural camp is designed to actively create and build a series of courses with the theme of "traveling", with four contents including "roaming tour", "fun tour", "appreciating tour" and "intelligent tour". The part of "Roaming Tour - Tourism Knowledge" mainly focuses on the knowledge and skills needed for traveling in China, and develops basic interpersonal communication skills and understanding the basic tourism knowledge. The part of "Fun Tour -- Travel Experience" will focus on the "entertainment" of Chinese tourism, and take Chinese food culture and the emerging "Hanfu trend" as the entry point to show the local folk customs and the spirit of contemporary Chinese people. The part of "Appreciating Tour -- Natural Scenery" mainly focuses on the introduction of natural scenery during the trip, so that students can appreciate the natural beauty and understand the characteristics of tourism resources in China. The part of "Intellectual Travel -- Collection of Humanities" focuses on the "history" in Chinese tourism, and takes historical stories and cultural celebrities as the entry point to show the historical accumulation and cultural deposits of Chinese civilization in the long history of development.

“畅游天下 · 中文随行”旅游主题文化特色夏令营项目，秉承“语言+文化+交流”的设计理念，积极创设和打造以“游”为主题的系列课 程，设置“漫游”“趣游”“赏游”“智游”四方面的内容。“漫游——旅游常识”部分以语言讲授为主，主要聚焦于来华旅游所需的知识与技能，培养基本的人际沟通能力，了解基本的旅游常识。“趣游——生活体验”部分将重点聚焦于旅游中文的“娱”，以中国的美食文化及新兴的“汉服风潮”为切入点，展现地方民风民俗以及当代中国人的精神风貌。“赏游——自然风光”部分主要聚焦于旅行中有关自然风光的介绍，让学生欣赏自然美景的同时，了解中国旅游资源的特色。“智游——人文荟萃”部分聚焦于旅游中文中的“史”，以历史故事和文化名人为切入点，来展现中华文明在发展长河中的历史积淀和文化底蕴。

International students dormitory is located on the Lixia Campus ( in the downtown of Jinan) with several super markets, shopping malls, hospitals, etc. all around. SDNU has indoor and outdoor basketball courts, football fields, tennis courts, swimming pools, etc. The international student dormitory features bathroom, TV set, telephone, desk, wardrobe, 24-hour hot water and internet interface. There are communal kitchens, laundry rooms, one dining hall gym and so on in the dormitory building. International students can cook in the communal kitchen or buy food in the dining hall.

学校外国留学生宿舍坐落于历下区校区内，毗邻泉城广场、各类购物超市、医院等场所，购物交通便利。校内有室内外篮球场、足球场、网球场、游泳池等场所。公寓为标准两人间，室内电视、网络、空调等设施齐全，24小时热水供应，还设有专门的健身房、会客室、自习室等，每层楼均设有厨房和洗衣房，方便学生使用。
