SDNU has two campuses in Lixia District and Changqing District which cover a land area of about 257 hectares and a building area of 2,560,000 square meters. It has established 46 research and training institutions in national level and above provincial and ministerial level, SDNU contains 21 schools, 67 undergraduate programs, 13 post-doctoral research stations, 15 first-level disciplines for doctorate degree granting, 34 first-level disciplines for master’s degree granting and 19 types of professional degree authorization which cover the top ten subjects and disciplines. It ranks as the top of all provincial colleges and universities in the amount of subjects and disciplines. The library has a collection of 3,469,400 volumes of books and periodicals, a collection of 1,416,700 volumes of  electronic books as well as 193 databases.

学校在历下区和长清区两地办学，总占地面积近3850亩（约256万平方米），建筑面积约135万平方米，设有46个国家级和省级教学、试验中心和基地。现有21个学院（部），67个招生本科专业，13个博士后科研流动站，15个博士学位授权一级学科、1个博士专业学位授权点、34个硕士学位授权一级学科、19个专业学位授权点，覆盖十大学科门类，学科、专业学位数量居省属高校前列。图书馆建筑面积61369平方米，馆藏纸质书刊346.94万册、电子图书141.67万册、数据库193个。

College of International Education （International Students’ Office）of Shandong Normal University (CIE/SDNU hereafter) is a teaching-and-administrative-oriented unit which mainly aims at accepting and training international students. CIE/SDNU is well-known for the teaching quality. CIE has a team of excellent teachers with reasonable talent echelon. They are dedicated to the teaching career and offer quality teaching with abundant scientific attainments. There are 33 full-time teachers giving Chinese language courses to the international students, among whom are 5 professors, 10 associate professors. Most of the full-time teachers have been teaching Chinese as a second language for many years and have the experience of teaching Chinese abroad. Dozens of countries have witnessed their teaching experiences, such as Korea, Japan, USA, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Sudan, UK, Egypt and Burma. All the experiences have enabled them to accumulate rich experience in teaching Chinese as a second language.                        

国际教育学院（留学生工作办公室）是我校培养外国留学生、国内外汉语国际教育专业学生的教学和管理单位。学院拥有一支热爱教育事业、学术造诣深、教学效果好、梯队结构合理的师资队伍，现有专任教师33人，其中教授5人，副教授10人。专任教师大多数具有在国外任教的经历，积累了丰富的对外汉语教学经验，具有较高的学术水平和较强的科研能力。

(1)乐游趵突泉Happy Tour of Baotu Spring

One of the three famous scenic spots in Jinan, it is located in Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province. It faces Quancheng Square in the east and Wulong Pool in the north. It covers an area of 158 mu and ranks among the 72 famous springs in Jinan. When Emperor Qianlong was on his southern tour, Baotu Spring was canonized as "the first spring in the world" because of its mellow and delicious tea. It is also the first famous spring in Jinan to be found in ancient documents.

济南三大名胜之一，位于山东省济南市历下区，东临泉城广场，北望五龙潭，面积达158亩，位居济南七十二名泉之冠。乾隆皇帝南巡时因趵突泉水泡茶味醇甘美，曾册封趵突泉为"天下第一泉"。 也是最早见于古代文献的济南名泉。

(2)悦登千佛山Climbing the Thousand Buddha Mountain

One of the three famous scenic spots in Jinan, it was called Lishan in ancient times. Because it was said that Shun cultivated fields in Lishan, it was also called Shunshan and Shungengshan. During the reign of Emperor Kaihuang of Sui Dynasty (581-600 years), because of the prevalence of Buddhism, thousands of Buddha statues were carved along the mountain, so it was called Qianfoshan. Qianfoshan showcases the Buddhist art of the Sui Dynasty in China, with a long history and culture.

济南三大名胜之一，古称历山，因为古史称舜在历山耕田的缘故，又曾名舜山和舜耕山。隋开皇年间(581年一600年)，因佛教盛行，随山势雕刻了数千佛像，故称千佛山。千佛山展现中国隋朝佛教艺术，历史文化悠久。

(3)漫步大明湖Strolling Daming Lake

It is one of the three historical sites of Jinan City Lake and Jinan in Shandong Province. Located in the north of the old city of Lixia District, Jinan City, Shandong Province, it is formed by the confluence of many springs in Jinan. The lake water flows into the Xiaoqing River through the Lushui River. The water surface area is 57.7 hectares, and the average water depth is 2 to 3 meters. Daming Lake has beautiful scenery and clear water. It is one of the core components of the national 5A-level tourist attraction - the first spring scenic area in the world.

山东省济南市区湖泊、济南三大历史名胜之一。位于山东省济南市历下区旧城区北部，是由济南众多泉水汇流而成，湖水经泺水河注入小清河。水面面积57.7公顷 ，水深平均2~3米。 大明湖景色优美秀丽，湖水水色澄碧，是国家5A级旅游景区--天下第一泉风景区的核心组成部分之一。

(4)儒行三孔Confucius Temple, Confucius forest

Qufu Confucius Mansion, Confucius Temple and Confucius Forest are collectively referred to as "Three Confucius". Confucius Temple is a temple dedicated to Confucius and a classical architectural complex that is more representative of Confucian culture. Confucius Forest is a special cemetery for Confucius and his family. The family cemetery with the largest scale, the longest delay, the most tombs and the most complete preservation.

曲阜孔府、孔庙、孔林，统称“三孔”，孔庙，是祭祀孔子的庙宇，是儒家文化较具代表性的古典建筑群，孔林，是孔子及其家族的专用墓地，也是世界上规模较大、延时最久、墓葬最多、保存最完整的家族墓地。

(5)儒韵尼山Visiting Nishan

Nishan was formerly known as Niqiu Mountain. Confucius' parents "prayed to Niqiu to get Confucius", so Confucius' name was Qiu Zhongni, and later generations avoided Confucius and called it Nishan. A generation of sage Confucius was born here. It is located 30 kilometers southeast of Qufu City. At an altitude of more than 340 meters, there are five peaks on the top of the mountain, but the middle peak is Niqiu.

尼山原名尼丘山，孔子父母"祷于尼丘得孔子"，所以孔子名丘字仲尼，后人避孔子讳称为尼山。 一代圣人孔子诞生在这里。位于曲阜市城东南30公里。海拔340余米，山顶五峰连峙，惟中峰为尼丘。

(6)墨拓艺术（拓片体验）Ink rubbing art (rubbing experience)

Rubbing is an ancient traditional skill in my country. It is a skill to copy words and patterns such as inscriptions, stone carvings, oracle bones, bronze wares, etc. using rice paper and ink. It is one of the important carriers for recording the long history and traditional culture. A fascinating intangible cultural heritage.

拓片是我国一项古老的传统技艺，它是使用宣纸和墨汁，将碑文、石刻、甲骨、青铜器等文字和图案拷贝出来的一种技能，是记录悠久历史和传统文化的重要载体之一，也是极具魅力的非物质文化遗产。

(7)泰山豆腐博物馆Taishan Tofu Museum

Making tofu is one of the intangible cultural heritages in Tai'an. Learn about the production process of tofu and feel the charm of intangible cultural heritage.

制作豆腐是泰安非遗之一，了解豆腐的制作过程，感受非遗魅力。

(8)泰山皮影Taishan shadow puppet

Taishan shadow play is an ancient traditional folk art. Listening to its singing and watching its shape, all reveal the profoundness and simplicity of Taishan culture.

泰山皮影戏是一种古老的传统民间艺术。听其唱，观其形，无一不透着泰山文化的深厚、古朴。

(9)武动乾坤（太极功夫扇）Learning Kung Fu(Tai Chi Kung Fu fan)

Tai Chi Kung Fu Fan absorbs the essence of traditional Chinese martial arts, blends Tai Chi movements with different styles of martial arts movements, and flexibly combines fan waving with Tai Chi sports skills.

太极功夫扇吸取中华传统武术精华，把太极拳的动作和不同风格的武术动作共熔一炉，将扇子挥舞与太极运动技巧灵活结合。

(10)舌尖非遗（胶东饽饽）

Intangible cultural heritage on the tip of the tongue

Jiaodong flower pastry has a history of more than 300 years. It is an artistic style created by Jiaodong women according to living customs, festivals and regional characteristics, using flour as the main raw material. It has a special status in folk activities and means auspiciousness. , with distinctive artistic characteristics and life taste, carrying good wishes and wishes such as peace and health, good luck, wealth and longevity, abundant crops, and happiness.

胶东的花饽饽距今已经有三百多年的历史，是胶东妇女根据生活习俗、节日、地域特色，以面粉为主要原料创造的一种艺术样式，在民俗活动中具有特殊地位，寓意吉祥，具有鲜明的艺术特色和生活情趣，承载着平安健康、吉祥如意、富贵长寿、五谷丰登、幸福美满等美好祝福和心愿。

International students dormitory is located on the Lixia Campus ( in the downtown of Jinan) with several super markets, shopping malls, hospitals, etc. all around. SDNU has indoor and outdoor basketball courts, football fields, tennis courts, swimming pools, etc. The international student dormitory features bathroom, TV set, telephone, desk, wardrobe, 24-hour hot water and internet interface. There are communal kitchens, laundry rooms, one dining hall gym and so on in the dormitory building. International students can cook in the communal kitchen or buy food in the dining hall.

学校外国留学生宿舍坐落于历下区校区内，毗邻泉城广场、各类购物超市、医院等场所，购物交通便利。校内有室内外篮球场、足球场、网球场、游泳池等场所。公寓为标准两人间，室内电视、网络、空调等设施齐全，24小时热水供应，还设有专门的健身房、会客室、自习室等，每层楼均设有厨房和洗衣房，方便学生使用。
