Sanya Foreign Language School Affiliated to Shanghai International Studies University (hereinafter referred to as SYFLS) is a six-year consistent public middle school jointly built by the Sanya Municipal People's Government and Shanghai International Studies University. The school is located near Sanya Phoenix International Airport, within easy reach of mountains and sea and surrounded by beautiful scenery, with unique tropical island seascapes and international free trade port location advantages. The school is divided into junior high school and senior high school, and has a special International Division. It features foreign languages teaching with first-class hardware facilities and excellent teachers in Hainan, and has run six foreign language courses, including English, French, German, Japanese, Russian and Spanish. At present, SYFLS is the Talent Internship Base of International Chinese major of Tongji University, Sanya Office of Shanghai Center for Research in English Language Education, the "Little Diplomat" training base in Hainan Province and one of the first experimental schools to carry out quality curriculum.
