Combining online live stream and pre-recorded broadcast, the project “Travelling Back to the Three Kingdoms----An Online Experience of Intangible Cultural Heritage” hosted by Wuhan University of Science and Technology (WUST) is mainly targeted at non-native Chinese speakers. Online live stream course imposes language lectures and The Three Kingdoms story lectures as the main content. While making pre-record, some international students on campus will be invited to experience the appreciation and reproduction of Intangible Cultural Heritages like Chu Lacquer, Eagle Kite, Gourd Pyrography, Chinese Zither and Chu Embroidery, and visit the Jingzhou Ancient City. Shifting from "what we want to say" to "what learners want to know", this project enables Chinese language and culture lovers to learn Chinese language, enhance understanding of the Intangible Cultural Heritages and promote cross-cultural communication.
