2Archaeological findings in China show that 60% of the fine lacquerware in China comes from Jingzhou, the ancient city of the Three Kingdoms and the birthplace of Chu-style lacquerware painting techniques. Chu-style lacquerware is the peak of Chinese lacquerware craftsmanship, with exotic and magnificent shapes, rich and colorful decorations, and saturated and elegant colors. Chu-style lacquer decoration art was listed in the third batch of National Intangible Cultural Heritage. Let us follow the national inheritors to learn about its molding, lacquer and painting skills. The course will be delivered through recorded videos, which takes 2 class hours altogether.
