Chongqing Polytechnic University of Electronic Technology is a public undergraduate polytechnic university founded in 1965. It is located in Chongqing University Town, covers an area of 2566.18 acres, and has 21,508 full-time students. The university has eight (professional) physical colleges, including Artificial Intelligence and Big Data College,Electronics and Internet of Things College, College of Communication Engineering, Intelligent Manufacturing and Automobile School, Finance and Management School, Digital Media School, Architecture and Materials School, and School of Smart Health, as well as four (educational) functional colleges, including General Education and International Studies School, College of Marxism, the Department of Physical Education and National Defense Teaching, and College of Training and Continuing Education. The university is a high-level vocational college with Chinese characteristics and a national demonstrative vocational college. In the past four national teaching achievement awards, it has won 3 first prizes and 7 second prizes. In the 2023 Soft Science China Vocational College Ranking, it ranks third in the country; in the 2023 Wu Shulian China Vocational College Ranking, it ranks third in the country.
