Sichuan Film and Television University (SFU) was founded in 1992, and is the first private undergraduate university in the western region of China to train film and media talents. From 2019 to 2021, its "Radio and Television Choreography" and "Broadcasting and Hosting Arts" programs were approved by the Ministry of Education as "national first-class undergraduate program construction sites". Over the past 30 years, SFU has delivered nearly 50,000 high-quality professionals to China's communication and television media industries. The university created the first film and television training platform-"Sichuan Film and Television Creative City"-within a university in China, which is a production base for the whole process of film and television creation and production.

四川电影电视学院（简称川影）始建于1992年，是我国西部地区第一所以培养影视传媒人才为主的民办本科高校，学校的前身是四川师范大学电影电视学院，2014年经教育部批准正式更名为四川电影电视学院。是一所具有浓郁艺术气息和优良教学传统的现代艺术大学。2019至2021年，学校“广播电视编导专业”和“播音与主持艺术专业”经教育部批准为“国家级一流本科专业建设点”。30年来川影为中国的传播电视传媒行业输送了近5万名优质专业人才。学校打造出了国内首个大学内的影视实训平台“四川影视文创城”。是集剧本创研中心、摄影棚集群、摄影器材库、道具服装库、置景特道工坊、数字虚拟空间为一体的影视全流程创制生产基地。
