四川电影电视学院始（简称川影）建于1992年，是我国西部地区第一所以培养影视传媒人才为主的民办本科高校，学校的前身是四川师范大学电影电视学院，2014年经教育部批准正式更名为四川电影电视学院，学校位于“天府之国”成都，设有金牛校区和安仁校区，占地1864.9亩。是一所具有浓郁艺术气息和优良教学传统的现代艺术大学。

Sichuan Film and Television University (SFU) was founded in 1992, and is the first private undergraduate university in the western region of China to train film and media talents. The university is located in Chengdu, the "Land of Abundance", with Jinniu and Anren campuses, covering an area of 1,864.9 acres. It is a modern art university with a strong artistic atmosphere and excellent teaching tradition.

2019至2021年，学校“广播电视编导专业”和“播音与主持艺术专业”经教育部批准为“国家级一流本科专业建设点”。学校设有10个教学单位，开设普通类（艺术类）本科专业23个，专科专业22个。全校在校本科专科学生近2万人。

From 2019 to 2021, the university’s "Radio and Television Choreography" and "Broadcasting and Hosting Arts" programs were approved by the Ministry of Education as "national first-class undergraduate program construction sites". The university has 10 teaching units, offering 23 general (art) undergraduate majors and 22 specialist majors. There are nearly 20,000 undergraduate and college students at the university.

30年来川影为中国的传播电视传媒行业输送了近5万名优质专业人才。川影电影人的作品更是在国际国内的电影节屡次斩获佳绩，2012年，学校副校长罗思担任院线电影《听风者》的策划，该片获得第32届香港电影金像奖最佳编剧、最佳男女主角等多项提名，最终荣获最佳摄影奖，同时该片还荣获第49届台北金马奖多项提名；2017年，担任电影《废墟》的制片人、监制、编剧、主演，该片被中国电影基金会-吴天明青年电影专项基金选送至戛纳电影节制片人工作坊，并在戛纳电影中国市场举行了项目推介；2019年，电影作品《罪·恶》入选龙跃中欧合拍计划，并于柏林电影节路演。2019年，由川影人担任配音团队的《哪吒之魔童降世》代表中国内地参选2020年第92届奥斯卡金像奖最佳国际影片（原最佳外语片）。

Over the past 30 years, SFU has delivered nearly 50,000 high-quality professionals to China's communication and television media industries. In 2012, Si Luo, Vice President of the school, was the planner of the theatrical film "The Silent War", which was nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Actor and Actress at the 32nd Hong Kong Film Awards, and finally won the Best Cinematography Award, and was also nominated for the 49th Taipei Golden Horse Awards. In 2017, she acted as the producer, executive producer, screenwriter, and star of the movie "The Ruins". The film was selected by the China Film Foundation-Wu Tianming Youth Film Special Fund for the Producers' Workshop at the Cannes Film Festival and held a project presentation at the Cannes Film China Market; In 2019, the film "Sin•Evil" was selected for the Dragon Leap China-Europe Co-production Program and roadshowed at the Berlin Film Festival; In 2019, "Ne Zha", for which SFU film-makers acting as the dubbing team, represented mainland China in the contest for Best International Film (originally Best Foreign Language Film) at the 92nd Academy Awards in 2020.

学校自筹资金10亿元，打造出占地200亩，建筑面积25万平方米的国内首个大学内的影视实训平台。2020年被成都市天府文化论坛评为“天府文化·十大文创产业新场景”。川影“四川影视文创城”是四川省政府重点项目，这里可完成大学生创新创业孵化、青年影视人才职业培训等，是集剧本创研中心、摄影棚集群、摄影器材库、道具服装库、置景特道工坊、数字虚拟空间为一体的影视全流程创制生产基地，更是可实现产业标准化、数字化、工业化的文化创新创意创造之城。

The university raised 1 billion yuan by itself to create the first film and television training platform within a university in China, covering an area of 200 acres and a building area of 250,000 square meters. In 2020, it was awarded "Tianfu Culture - Top 10 New Scenes of Cultural and Creative Industries" by the Chengdu Tianfu Culture Forum. SFU’s "Sichuan Film and Television Creative City" is a key project of the Sichuan Provincial Government, which can complete the innovation and entrepreneurship incubation for college students, vocational training for young film and television talents, etc. It is a production base for the whole process of film and television creation and production, integrating script creation and research center, studio cluster, camera equipment warehouse, prop and costume warehouse, set-up special workshop, and digital virtual space. It is also a city of cultural innovation and creative creation that can realize industrial standardization, digitalization, and industrialization.

学校非常重视国际交流合作，现已与美国的南加州大学电影学院、纽约州立大学、东南密苏里州立大学、黑山州立大学、波尔大学、戈申学院、特洛伊大学、纽约电影学院，以及英国的伦敦艺术大学、韩国的清州大学、泰国的博仁大学等建立了“在校生校际交流联合培养计划”，开展了“3+1”及“3+2”双本硕连读、“2+3”专本硕连读、“2+2”双本连读、“1+3”或“2+2”专本连读等留学项目。积极开展国际文化艺术交流，通过举办各国电影周、国际音乐舞蹈演出、国际电影论坛等方式，让学生与国际大师近距离接触，感受世界传媒艺术的魅力，体会不同文化的差异。现已举办过美国、德国、波兰、西班牙、加拿大、法国、澳大利亚等多国电影周。

The university attaches great importance to international exchange and cooperation, and has established "Inter-college exchange and joint training programs for students" with USC Film School, State University of New York, Southeast Missouri State University, Black Mountain State University, Ball University, Goshen College, Troy University, New York Film Academy, University of the Arts London in the UK, Cheongju University in Korea, and Borin University in Thailand. The "3+1" and "3+2" dual undergraduate and master's programs, "2+3" dual undergraduate and master's programs, "2+2" dual undergraduate and master's programs, and "3+1" and "3+2" dual undergraduate and master's programs have been developed. SFU actively carries out international cultural and artistic exchanges, and through the organization of national film weeks, international music and dance performances, international film forums, etc., students can get in close contact with international masters, feel the charm of world media art and experience the differences of different cultures. Now it has held film weeks in many countries such as the United States, Germany, Poland, Spain, Canada, France, and Australia.

2019年，教育部正式批准四川电影电视学院与美国格林斯伯勒合作举办数字媒体艺术专业本科教育项目。2021年，四川电影电视学院国际创意学院正式面向全国招生。

In 2019, the Ministry of Education officially approved the cooperation between SFU and Greensboro, USA to hold an undergraduate education program in Digital Media Arts major. In 2021, SFU’s International School of Creative Art is officially open for national enrollment.

根据中国科学评价研究中心（RCCSE）、武汉大学中国教育质量评价中心联合中国科教评价网发布的2017-2018中国大学本科专业排行榜显示：川影播音与主持艺术专业与中国传媒大学、浙江传媒学院一起进入全国三强，位列西部第一；川影戏剧影视导演专业全国排名第四，西部第一；川影影视摄影与制作专业全国排名第六，西部第一。

According to the 2017-2018 China University Undergraduate Major Ranking released by China Center for Scientific Evaluation (RCCSE) and Wuhan University's China Education Quality Evaluation Center in conjunction with China Science and Education Evaluation Network, SFU’s Broadcasting and Hosting Arts major, along with Communication University of China and Zhejiang Media College, are ranked in the top three in the country and the first in the west; SFU’s Drama Film and Television Director major is ranked fourth in the country and the first in the west; SFU’s Film and Television Photography and Production major is ranked sixth in the country and the first in the west. SFU’s Film and Television Photography and Production major is ranked sixth nationwide and first in the west.
