哈尔滨学院

Harbin University is located in the western core area of Harbin, the ice city in the north. It is the only full-time public ordinary undergraduate university in Harbin, with a provincial and municipal joint construction education system focusing on municipal level. The predecessor of the university is the North Manchurian Special Zone Normal School, which was established in 1934. In March 2000, with the approval of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, four schools which are Harbin Normal College, Harbin University, Harbin Institute of Education and Harbin Institute of Adult Education were merged to establish Harbin University. After the joint upgrading, Harbin Normal School and Harbin Finance and Economics School were successively incorporated. After 88 years of construction and development, the university has become an application-oriented university with distinctive urban characteristics, highlighting the advantages of science and engineering, art design and teacher education, with coordinated development of economics, law, teaching, culture, science, engineering, management, art and other disciplines.

哈尔滨学院坐落于北国冰城哈尔滨市的西部核心区,实行省市共建、以市为主的办学体制,是哈尔滨市属唯一一所全日制公办普通本科高等院校。

学校前身是1934年成立的北满特别区师范学校。2000年3月,经国家教育部批准,哈尔滨师范专科学校、哈尔滨大学、哈尔滨市教育学院、哈尔滨市成人教育学院等四所院校合并成立哈尔滨学院。合校升本后,哈尔滨市师范学校、哈尔滨市财经学校先后并入。经过88年的建设发展,学校已成为一所突出理工科、艺术设计和教师教育优势明显,经、法、教、文、理、工、管、艺等学科协调发展,城市特色鲜明的应用型大学。
