Hebi Polytechnic is a full-time public higher vocational school, which was established in April 2001 with the running history being traced back to 1959 and is located in Qibin District, Hebi City, Henan Province. The university is the construction organization of high-level higher vocational school in Henan Province, the backbone higher vocational college in Henan Province, the brand demonstration college of vocational education in Henan Province, and the high-quality higher vocational college in Henan Province. In 2015, Hebi Municipal People’s Government and Henan Polytechnic University established Hebi Engineering and Technology College (undergraduate) of Henan Polytechnic University relying on Hebi Polytechnic. The university has 13 teaching schools, including Medical School, Nursing School, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, School of Electronic Information Engineering and School of Humanities Education, and 52 majors in medicine and health, equipment manufacturing, electronic information, civil engineering and architecture. At present, there are more than 1,000 teaching staff and more than 20,000 full-time students. The employment rate of graduates has remained above 95% for many consecutive years. The university is the chairman organization of Henan north higher vocational education group, the advanced organization of Henan vocational education, Henan civilized school, the pilot university of comprehensive reform of “Three Whole Education” in Henan Province and the pilot university of smart campus construction in Henan Province.
鹤壁职业技术学院是一所全日制公办高等职业学校，2001年4月组建成立，办学历史可追溯至1959年，位于河南省鹤壁市淇滨区。学校是河南省高水平高等职业学校建设单位，河南省骨干高职院校、河南省职业教育品牌示范院校、河南省优质高等职业院校。2015年，鹤壁市人民政府与河南理工大学依托鹤壁职业技术学院建立河南理工大学鹤壁工程技术学院（本科）。
学校设有医学院、护理学院、机电工程学院、电子信息工程学院、人文教育学院等13个教学单位，开设医药卫生、装备制造、电子信息、土木建筑等方面的专业52个。现有教职工1000余人，各类全日制在校生2万余人，毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上。学校是河南省豫北高职教育集团理事长单位、河南省职业教育先进单位、河南省文明学校、河南省“三全育人”综合改革试点高校、河南省智慧校园建设试点高校。
