鹤壁职业技术学院是一所全日制公办高等职业学校，2001年4月组建成立，办学历史可追溯至1959年，位于河南省鹤壁市淇滨区。学校是河南省高水平高等职业学校建设单位，河南省骨干高职院校、河南省职业教育品牌示范院校、河南省优质高等职业院校。2015年，鹤壁市人民政府与河南理工大学依托鹤壁职业技术学院建立河南理工大学鹤壁工程技术学院（本科）。

学校在多年的办学实践中，逐步形成了“立足地方、面向市场、以人为本、科学发展”的办学理念和“政校企行合作、产学研创结合”的人才培养模式，熔铸了“诚信、自强、力行、拓新”的校训校风。学校占地面积1306亩，建筑面积50.3万平方米，建有市校共享的“千鹤之舞”体育馆和图书馆。现有固定资产总值6.03亿元，教学、科研仪器设备总值1.37亿元，馆藏图书127万余册，电子图书65万册。学校建有集教学、科研、培训、考证等功能于一体的校内实验实训中心（基地）29个，校内实训室286个，校外实习实训基地242个，附属医院1个。学校设有医学院、护理学院、机电工程学院、人文教育学院、电子信息工程学院、经济管理学院、建筑设计与工程学院、交通与材料工程学院、食品工程学院、继续教育学院（鹤壁广播电视大学、职业技能鉴定中心）、马克思主义学院、公共基础教育学院、体育运动学院（鹤壁市体育运动学校）等13个教学单位，开设医药卫生、装备制造、电子信息、土木建筑、文化艺术、食品药品与粮食、教育与体育、财经商贸、旅游、交通运输、能源动力与材料等方面的专业52个。学校现有各类全日制在校生2万余人。毕业生就业率连续多年保持在95%以上，毕业生质量受到用人单位的普遍好评。学生近年来在全国高职院校技能大赛累计获得国家级奖项38项、省级奖项121项。

学校牢牢把握省、市产业转型升级的重大机遇，不断深化校企合作、产教融合。先后与华为公司合作共建华为ICT学院，与黄河科技集团合作共建鲲鹏产业学院，与河南省绿色食品发展中心共建“河南省绿色食品人才培养基地”等。学院坚持开放办学，主动适应国家转型发展战略、“一带一路”倡议、中资企业走出去发展战略和国家新一轮开放发展对国际化人才的需求，先后与瑞典斯堪尼亚销售(中国)有限公司、德国萨克森职业培训学院、俄罗斯斯摩棱斯克国立大学等开展合作办学。学校积极服务地方产业发展和科技创新，建有鹤壁市协同创新中心、重点实验室、工程技术研究中心6个。

Hebi Polytechnic is a full-time public higher vocational school, which was established in April 2001 with the running history being traced back to 1959 and is located in Qibin District, Hebi City, Henan Province. The school is the construction organization of high-level higher vocational school in Henan Province, the backbone higher vocational college in Henan Province, the brand demonstration college of vocational education in Henan Province, and the high-quality higher vocational college in Henan Province. In 2015, Hebi Municipal People’s Government and Henan Polytechnic University established Hebi Institute of Engineering and Technology (undergraduate) of Henan Polytechnic University relying on Hebi Polytechnic.
