The program is organized by the College of Arts and Law of Taiyuan University of Technology, aiming to stimulate students' interest in learning Chinese language and culture, deepen their impression of Shanxi's intangible cultural heritage, make them feel the profound cultural background of China in experiencing the cultural differences between China and other countries, and then build a vital platform for international exchange of intangible cultural heritage. A variety of language and culture courses have been carried out in the form of a combination of live and recorded courses. Thus students can follow the Chinese teachers and intangible cultural heritage inheritors to experience the Chinese language class and the intangible cultural heritage experience course. There are three types of courses. The first category is language courses, including general Chinese and tourist Chinese; The second category is the intangible cultural heritage course, including Lian Hua Lao （a Chinese folk art form） and Ancient Tricks, Polishing Light Lacquer and Xing Yi Quan （a martial arts style）, Qing He Yuan Tounao (（a kind of boiled soup) and Tai Gu cake, Guanque Tower in Yongji city and Ancient City of Pingyao, etc. The third category is "Contemporary China" special lecture, including rural revitalization and intangible cultural heritage protection. The above courses are combined with online learning, online tutoring, video appreciation, interactive Q&A and other methods to lead students to understand the unique Shanxi intangible cultural heritage and feel a more diversified and three-dimensional China.
