Xi’an University of Technology (XUT) is a comprehensive public university featuring mainly in science and technology, which is jointly constructed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of PRC and Shaanxi provincial government. XUT, one of the important talent training and research centers in northwest China, is simultaneously developing education and research programs in the fields of hydroelectric engineering, equipment manufacturing, printing and packaging engineering. More than 100 international students from 20 countries and regions have been studying in XUT.
西安理工大学是工信部陕西省共建高校，陕西省“国内一流大学建设高校”。2020年7月，学校成为工信部、陕西省共建高校，中国西北地区水利水电、装备制造、印刷包装行业高级专门人才的重要培养基地和科研中心之一。目前有来自20多个国家的百余位外国留学生就读于西安理工大学。
