西安理工大学位于陕西西安（古称长安），是陕西省重点建设的高水平大学、陕西省“国内一流大学建设高校”。设有17个学院和1个教学部，68个本科专业，27个硕士学位授权一级学科，13个硕士专业学位授权点，15个博士学位授权一级学科，2个博士专业学位授权点。现有国家一级重点学科1个，陕西省重点学科21个，陕西省优势学科12个。工程学学科、材料科学学科位列ESI全球学科排名前1%。

Xi 'an University of Technology, located in Xi 'an (formerly known as Chang 'an), Shaanxi province, is one of the key high-level universities in Shaanxi Province and one of the "First-class Universities in China". It has 17 colleges and 1 teaching department, offering 68 undergraduate programs, 27 first-level master's degree programs, 13 first-level master's degree programs, 15 first-level doctoral degree programs, and 2 doctoral degree programs. There are 1 national first-level key discipline, 21 provincial key disciplines and 12 provincial advantage disciplines. Engineering discipline and Material Science discipline are among the top 1% of disciplines in ESI worldwide.

It has established friendly cooperation and exchange relations with more than 60 universities and research institutions in more than 20 countries and regions, such as Germany, Japan, the United States, Australia, Britain, France and so on. The university has made great efforts to develop international education. Up to now, more than 100 international students from more than 20 countries have come to the university to receive bachelor's degree, master's degree and doctoral degree. In 2021, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, XI 'an University of Technology established international School of Engineering, a Chinese-foreign cooperative educational institution with multiple levels of undergraduate, master and doctor training, effectively enhancing the international atmosphere of the campus.
