In 2024, the "Chinese Bridge" Portuguese online group project of Central China Normal University, with the theme of "Learn Chinese, taste poetry", aims to pass on the beauty of traditional Chinese poetry to overseas friends, so that they can taste the mysteries of Chinese language, experience Chinese customs and appreciate various forms of life through learning ancient poetry. This project will be taught by professors from the School of Foreign Languages of our university, and poetry courses will be taught by teachers from Huanghe Poetry Association, etc., and will be carried out by the "Chinese Bridge" project platform and the resources within the platform. Students participating in this programme mainly study Chinese language classes, and through professional teachers explaining ancient poems, they can improve their Chinese language proficiency and be able to read, listen to, understand and appreciate classical texts such as Tang and Song poems and lyrics. We will provide a high-quality teaching and interactive platform for overseas students who love Chinese and poetry, so as to enhance students' understanding of traditional Chinese poetry. In the meantime, arouse their interest and love for traditional Chinese culture, improve their Chinese communication ability, expand the influence of Chinese poetry on communication, carry forward traditional culture, and strengthen cultural self-confidence.
