Jiujiang University (JJU) is a comprehensive and residential public university located in Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province of the People’s Republic of China. It is accredited by the Chinese Ministry of Education and enrolls students of diverse backgrounds from almost every province and administrative region of the country. Its history can be traced back to 1901 when it was chartered as Danforth Hospital Nursing School by American Missionaries. Its advantageous location and long history provides JJU with a rich cultural and academic atmosphere. JJU has four beautiful campuses resting on approximately 200 hectares (500 acres) and includes a building area of 1,050,000 square meters. 九江学院是经国家教育部批准设立的国有公办全日制本科普通高等院校，办学历史可上溯至1901年美国基督教卫理公会创办的但福德医院护士学校。
