Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine, founded in 1959, is located in Nanchang, the capital city of Jiangxi province, renowned for its abundant natural treasures and ancient intellectual talents. It is a university of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) with distinctive characteristics of TCM education as the main goal, multi-disciplinary coordinated development as the guideline and integration of production, study and research as the strategy. It is also a university jointly established by the Ministry of Education, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and the university abounds itself with plenty of honors granted by national organizations, including Honor of National Civilized Campus, Honor of Energy Efficiency Leader for National Public Institutions and other honorary titles.
