This course focuses on the function and composition of the automotive driveline, the key components of the driveline such as clutches, universal joints, driveshafts, drive axles, etc., their composition, characteristics, and working principles; it then outlines the function and composition of the driving system, and understands the characteristics of the frame, the load-bearing body, and recognizes the wheel positioning parameters and understands how the wheel positioning parameters affect the handling stability of the vehicle. Students are guided to apply the basic knowledge of mechanics to analyze the complex structural engineering problems of chassis in the field of vehicle engineering.
