This lesson mainly introduces the distinguishing featured sports of the Song Dynasty such as Cuju (ancient Chinese football), Maqiu (ancient equestrian sport), Chuiwan (a game similar to golf), Touhu  (Pitch-pot game) and more. It shows the upsurge of widespread sports activity in the social and the openess and inclusiveness of  social atmosphere, which played an important role in promoting cultural development and foreign exchanges during the Song Dynasty.
