The ancient color trick is a time-honored folk art having its own unique style in the form and content. Most of the performers were dressed in robes and take with them props such as fish tanks, porcelain bowls, vases, braziers, etc. According to Chinese folk customs, most of the performances were meant to celebrate good luck, such as, celebrating abundance and bottle-up tridents (homophonic to being promoted for three levels successively).
