1Segmentation allows marketers to identify and differentiate between the needs of the customer groups that make up a particular market. Marketers may offer different products to different segments, or they may offer the same product, marketing it in different ways. Segmentation, can be done in various ways, including demographic segmentation, psychographic segmentation, geographic segmentation and behavior segmentation.
