This course features a general introduction to traditional Chinese painting and a demonstration of painting steps. It reviews the history and genres of Chinese painting, and demonstrates the painting process of landscape and bird-and-flower painting. The balanced and symmetrical artistic features of Chinese painting and its creation concept of conveying spirit with form are vividly showed, thus deepening understanding of traditional Chinese culture.
