This course introduces a total of five disease-related Chinese characters, "disease, malaria, and tumor." It introduces the origin, development, and reason of each Chinese character through pictures, animations, and short videos. Furthermore, it selects allusions related to these characters and medical stories to deepen the impression of the original meaning of Chinese characters. One or two questions are asked after each character to test whether people really understand the original meaning of each character and the related story after reading. Through this theme, students can not only have a deeper understanding of the past and present lives of these five Chinese characters, but also understand the traditional Chinese cultural knowledge behind the "five elements, Yin and Yang, Tianqian and Earth branch Ji Nian".
