In terms of material, the UHPC we use breaks the material technology monopoly, putting an end to the lack of high-performance cement-based materials in steel deck strengthening technology, satisfying the century-old life requirement of the new system at material level.In 2011, the new system was first applied to the 11th span of Mafang Bridge in Zhaoqing, Guangdong. The new system “significantly reduces the risk of fatigue cracking of deck steel structures…More than 10 years into operation, no cracking or damage was found on the surface of the ultra-high toughness concrete layer.” So far, the new system has remained intact, while other deck systems operating at the same time have been severely damaged.

在材料方面,我们应用的超高性混凝土UHPC打破了材料技术垄断,彻底打破了钢桥面强化技术中缺少高性能水泥基材料的局面,从材料层面满足了新体系的百年长寿命要求。2011年,新体系首次应用于广东肇庆马房大桥第11跨,结果表明,新体系“显著降低了桥面钢结构疲劳开裂的风险,…经过10余年的运营后,超高韧性混凝土层表面未见开裂或破损现象” ,至今完好无损,而同桥同时期运营的其他桥面体系均已严重破损。
