Changsha, an inland city in central China, is the capital of Hunan Province. In the early morning of November 1st, 2017, Peking time, UNESCO announced in Paris, France that Changsha officially joined the global creative city network and became China's First Creative City of Media Arts. The course will introduce the students to Changsha, the Capital of Media Art from four aspects: historical and cultural deposits, cultural industry foundation, changsha's character building and industrial development pattern, so as to enhance the students' understanding of Changsha city.
