The Legend of the Condor Heroes, adapted from Jin Yong’s novel of the same name, tells about how a young man named Guo Jing grows up to be a great Xia (or hero) who loves both his country and people. Through a look into the Taoist health culture and Confucian chivalrous culture, the course offers a glimpse into the desirable nature of Xia (or hero): a man with skilled martial arts and the faithful, helping and self-sacrificing conducts.
