This course contributes mainly to the overview of Chinese painting, which enables students to acquire the basic knowledge of Chinese painting and have a better understanding of painting’ tools and skills. Beginning with the classification of traditional Chinese painting, the course introduces basic skills and regular rules in Chinese painting, giving students an insight into its uniquely artistic formation and performance of Chinese painting.
