Rooftop greening is greening on the roof of buildings, and vertical greening is greening on the surface of various buildings, structures and other spatial structures above the ground. Rooftop greening and vertical greening is an important way to improve the ecological environment and enrich the greening landscape, which can enrich the spatial structure and aesthetic value of green landscape. Rooftop greening and vertical greening help to further increase the amount of urban green, reduce the heat island effect, absorb dust, reduce noise and harmful gases, and create or improve the ecological environment in urban areas. It can not only insulate heat and save energy, but also retain rainwater and relieve the pressure of urban sewerage and drainage.

屋顶绿化是在建筑屋面上进行绿化,立体绿化是在地面以上的各类建筑物、构筑物以及其他空间结构表面进行绿化。屋顶绿化和立体绿化是改善生态环境,丰富绿化景观的重要方式,能丰富绿化的空间结构层次和景观艺术效果,有助于进一步增加城市绿量,减少热岛效应,吸尘、减少噪音和有害气体,营造和改善城区生态环境。还能保温隔热,节约能源,也可以滞留雨水,缓解城市下水、排水压力。
