Chinese paper-cutting is one of the oldest traditional folk handicrafts in China, which embodies the history and culture of the Chinese nation for thousands of years. The paper-cutting class takes the "paper-cutting culture" as the main line, introduces the history of the development of Chinese paper-cutting culture, the origin and characteristics of Manchu paper-cutting, and interacts with students to complete three different "春" paper-cutting works, so that students can experience paper-cutting skills and the beauty of them. And by the works, the course passes on Chinese New Year's greetings, expresses the mankind’s common ideal, expectation and hope that people all over the world will go hand in hand to embrace spring.
