This course mainly focuses on Xianghai, an ecological tourist attraction in Jilin Province. By teacher's interpretation and video resources, the course presents a beautiful ecological picture, and shows Xianghai's unique and charming natural scenery, animal and plant resources. Among them, the teacher mainly explained the most precious ancient tree species in Xianghai--Mongolian yellow elm, which is known as the "root" of Xianghai；red crowned crane, which is a national first-class protected animal and known as the "soul" of Xianghai and the related cultural connotation of Chinese cranes. In addition, the course introduced that Xianghai paid attention to ecological environment protection, and it has became a paradise for birds and animals through a series of protection measures.
