2Five-animal Exercise is a fitness exercise created by Hua Tuo, a famous doctor in the Eastern Han Dynasty, based on the ancient guidance, breathing techniques and the movements and expressions of five animals: tiger, deer, bear, ape, and bird, combined with the theories of human viscera, meridians and qi and blood. Five-animal Exercise is not only a part of Chinese medicine, but also one of China's national intangible cultural heritages.
五禽戏是由东汉名医华佗,根据古代导引、吐纳之术和虎、鹿、熊、猿、鸟五种动物的动作和神态,结合人体脏腑、经络和气血等理论而创编的健身养生功法。五禽戏既属于中医的一部分,也是中国国家级非物质文化遗产之一。
