Based on teaching traditional Chinese poetry and music, the core of this courses is to advocate the inheritance of "poetry education" in order to regain the tradition of chanting poem in modern society. From the perspective of singing, the course summarizes the relationship between poetry and music in the history of ancient Chinese literature and the musical characteristics of classical poetry.Moreover, the lecturer plays the audio and video of the restored singing of Chinese Poetry during the course,teaches students to sing and passes on the traditional Chinese etiquette. Through the combination of "teaching" and "appreciation", the course organically combines Chinese excellent poetry with the expression of modern music. It makes classic poetry shine again in the ancient and innovative music melody, and also let students enjoy the charm and beauty of Chinese classic poetry.
