China is a unique ancient country, blooming like a rose in the east. It is her uniqueness that attracts travelers from all over the world! Not only can people find pandas, kungfu, beautiful mountains and rivers in China, but also unique costumes, skills and delicious food may fascinate them a lot. Of all the things that appeal to people, food is a basic necessity life. In the traditional culture of China, “food culture” possesses an important part and it is quite regional. By having a taste of Chinese food, you can better appreciate the wisdom of Chinese philosophy. This course takes China traditional cuisine as the carrier, and in the process of learning about several typical Chinese traditional dishes, you will learn to express the taste of food in Chinese. Because taste determines our choice of food, we also evaluate food by taste. In China, “delicious” is often used to describe our choice and evaluation of food.
