The national intangible cultural heritage Xiushan Festive Lantern prevails in Xiushan Tujia and Miao Autonomous County, Chongqing. In this course, we will observe various lamps to learn about their roles in the course of human development. This course, with a focus on festive lanterns, will introduce their appearance and characteristics. In addition, trainees will make lanterns and appreciate their beauty and learn about the customs and conventions of the Lantern Festival.
