Modern Chinese has a variety of different dialects, and their distribution is very wide. The differences between dialects are manifested in all aspects of phonetics, vocabulary and grammar, especially in phonetics. This course allows students to understand the different regional cultures of China through the explanation of four representative dialects, Shanghai dialect, Sichuan dialect, Henan dialect and Cantonese dialect. At the same time, due to China's vast territory, vast land and abundant resources, there are differences in climate, products, and customs in different places. For a long time, many flavors have been formed in the diet. There has always been a saying in China that " Rice is the main food for people in the south part of china and flour food for north part.", and the taste is divided into "sweet in the south, salty in the north, sour in the east and spicy in the west". We will also introduce you to the specialties of Shanghai, Sichuan, Henan and Guangdong. There will be a deeper understanding of different regional cultures.

现代汉语有各种不同的方言,它们的分布区域很广。各个方言之间的差异表现在语音、词汇、语法各个方面,语音方面尤为突出。本课程通过对上海话、四川话、河南话和广东话四个比较具有代表性的方言的讲解,让学生们了解中国不同的地域文化。

同时由于中国幅员辽阔,地大物博,各地气候、物产、风俗习惯都存在着差异,长期以来,在饮食上也就形成了许多风味。中国一直就有“南米北面”的说法,口味上有“南甜北咸东酸西辣”之分,我们也将为大家介绍上海、四川、河南和广东四地的特色美食。更加深对不同地域文化的理解。
