Ancient Chinese Mythology contains a series of stories created by ancient human beings to explore the origin of the mysterious world, which expresses people’s good wishes for survival and development. The stories of many heroes in these fairy tales convey the unyielding and enterprising spirit to the common people. The author selects four popular fairy tales as the themes of his work, namely, the Cowherd and the Weaving Maid, the Goddess Nuwa Patching the Sky, the Goddess Chang’e’s Flight to the Moon and Hou Yi Shooting the Sun. This work reproduces the ancient Chinese myths through digital painting, and shows the story content and the connotative philosophy intuitively and vividly.
