This lesson introduces the basic knowledge of Peking Opera from four aspects: the history of Peking Opera, the performance forms, the classification of roles and appreciation of famous arias. The learners will appreciate the Peking Opera art and understand Chinese people’s ideology, philosophy and aesthetic emotion shown in Peking Opera.
