Hebi, named after the “red-crowned crane inhabiting in the cliff”, is located in the north of Henan Province with profound culture. The ancient and beautiful Qihe River not only created the splendid history and culture of Hebi but also gave birth to a beautiful industrial, ecological and innovative emerging city like a crane. The core concept of the construction of the comprehensive service function area is to build around the Qihe River. The Qihe River winds through the function area, of which the east bank is the core area of the modern service industry. In the area, 9 high-rise buildings are planned with the meaning of “Nine Stars Connecting Pearls” in combination with the region features, product history and cultural characteristics, including Fanqi Building, Longmen Building, Lianhe Building, Financial Building, Donglingcao Building, Magnesium Building, Jade Building, Guangming Building, View Building and Convention and Exhibition Center, which are called “Hebi 9+1 Landmark Buildings”. The Donglingcao Building, Financial Building and Convention and Exhibition Center are respectively designed with the “Three Treasures of the Qihe River” as the prototype. The remaining seven buildings are also integrated with Hebi elements to form the characteristics of one building corresponding to one characteristic. Through visiting and learning, students can understand the unique meaning, building concept and cultural connotation of each building in the Hebi 9+1 Project, deeply feel the perfect integration of modern urban building and scenery and the coordination and unity of building colors and materials, and appreciate the rhythm of the city skyline and the urbanized waterfront style.
