Silk has always been a world-renowned element representing Chinese distinctive features. With a history of 5,000 years, silk culture has become a glorious chapter of Traditional Chinese Culture. In this course, the learners will have an understanding of Chinese silk history and will learn Chinese silk culture with the guidance of the chief director of the large-scale special culture programme “Stories of Silk in Chinese Characters” and the large-scale documentaries of Silk Culture series “Silk Tour in the World”.
