Based on the long history of Chinese ceramic culture, this course introduces the origin, concepts and categories of ceramics, centering around molding, decoration and other techniques of practice of the modern ceramic. It is an important course to cultivate students’ creative thinking and practical ability. Besides paying attention to the functionality of ceramics, this course also emphasizes its artistic expression, modeling elements and creative concepts, trying to integrate them into the dissemination of excellent Traditional Chinese culture.
