1With two decades’ development, e-commerce in China not only grows from scratch, but has also completed the transformation from imitation, transcendence to leadership, incubating the largest global e-commerce market ever seen. As one of the most active and concentrated manifestations of the digital economy, e-commerce continues to promote the digital transformation of China's economy through continuous innovation. To some extent, e-commerce symbolizes and epitomizes China's economic take-off process. This course not only introduces the historical development of e-commerce in China, but also presents its new dynamics, formats, and concepts, aiming to display a grand picture of China's e-commerce evolution.
