The State Department published the National Fitness Programme (2021-2025) on 3rd August 2021. It aims to increase strength, flexibility, stamina, coordination and overall health of Chinese people from all ages and genders. The course will introduce the efforts and facilities put in by the Chinese government to promote national fitness. It will showcase the healthy lifestyle and fitness activities of Chinese people fron different age groups via live recordings. It will also display the practical application of traditional Chinese fitness activities such as Taichi quan and its various forms, Square dance, Yangko dance, Hoop roll. A Taichi master will also teach students the 4 basic styles of Taichi as part of the course.

2021年8月3日国务院印发《全民健身计划(2021-2025年)》。全民健身是指全国人民,不分男女老少,全体人民增强力量,柔韧性,增加耐力,提高协调,控制身体各部分的能力,从而使人民身体强健。本课程通过介绍政府为全民健身投入的设施建设,以实拍视频的方式展示了中国中小学生、中青年人和老年人的健身方式,既介绍了了当下中国人的健康生活方式,也展示了中国的传统健身项目(如:太极拳、太极扇、太极剑、太极球、广场舞、扭秧歌、滚铁环等项目)在中国的实际应用。另外,本课程还设置了太极拳学习环节,由著名太极拳大师带领同学们学习四个基本的太极拳拳法。
