Chinese culture is broad and profound, and food culture is one of them. This course mainly introduces China's four seasons and food. We will be showing you food natives love to take in Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. In the north of China, the four seasons are very distinct, and each of them has food that fit their characteristics. Eating according to the season is an important part of Chinese food culture. This lesson describes six kinds of Chinese specialties: Spring cake, Sweet Green Rice Ball, Barbecue, Mooncake, Hot pot, and "Bingtanghulu"(Candied haws on a stick). It also introduces the food's production process and explains their cultural backgrounds.

中国文化博大精深,饮食文化就是其中一种。本课程主要介绍中国的四季与美食,向同学们展示在春、夏、秋、冬四个季节里特别受欢迎的美食。在中国的北方四季分明,每个季节都有符合季节特色的美食,一年四季,按季节而吃,是中国美食的一大特征。本节课详细讲述了春饼、青团、烧烤、月饼、火锅和糖葫芦六种具有中国特色的美食,同时也介绍了它们的制作方法,并讲解了其中的文化背景。
