1Food carving refers to the technology of carving cooking materials into specific images such as flowers, birds, insects, fish and animals by using special knives and knife techniques. Foreign friends call food carving "the Pearl of Oriental food art", "the unique skill of Chinese chefs", and others call it "the art of a knife".
食品雕刻是指运用特殊刀具与刀法,将烹饪原料雕刻成花、鸟、虫、鱼、兽等具体形象的技术。外国朋友称食品雕刻为“东方食品艺术的明珠”、“中国厨师的绝技”,也有人称其为“一把刀的艺术”。
