The course focuses on the characteristics, connotations and causes of Nanjing’s meteorology through four aspects: Nanjing’s geographical features, Nanjing’s hydrological features, Nanjing’s climatic features and Nanjing’s solar terms. To enhance the fun of the course, short stories or classic poetry works related to the theme are appropriately interspersed in each section, which are presented through animation, reading and singing, enhancing students’ interest in learning as well as enhancing their understanding of traditional Chinese culture in an intangible way. The course also features dozens of photographs related to Nanjing, covering various aspects of geography, history, literature and customs, in an attempt to present knowledge about Nanjing’s meteorology in a comprehensive manner.
