About a million years ago, the Wushan mountains between Chongqing and Hubei Province were cut through by rivers to form the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. The river rushed out of the canyon and rolled eastward, and the Yangtze River was born. The vast Yangtze River flows through many cities from west to East, including Wuhan. The Yangtze River passes through Wuhan and intersects with the Han River, its largest tributary. The two rivers separate three towns of "Hankou, Hanyang and Wuchang". In October 1957, the Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge, known as the "first bridge over the Yangtze River", was officially completed and opened to traffic. Since then, dozens of bridges have been built on the Yangtze River in Wuhan, closely connecting the three towns. The number of bridges and the beauty of design make Wuhan a "Bridge City" and also known as "Bridge Museum". The Wuhan people who lived by the river have a natural feeling for the Yangtze River, and the Yangtze River also has a profound impact on the life of the Wuhan people. In this course, we will walk into the Yangtze River in Wuhan and explore the mystery of the Yangtze River.
