Chinese traditional festivals condensed the rich elements of the traditional Chinese culture. "A bite of Chinese Traditional Festivals" focuses on the four most important traditional Chinese festivals: Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival. It takes the representative food of each festival as the starting point, and then introduces the origin, the legend and the customs or cultural symbols of the festivals , interspersed with key words and phrases. The design concept of this course is to start from respecting the learning characteristics and cognitive laws of young people. Through texts, pictures, videos and cloud interaction, the combination of "learning, appreciation, doing, using and expressing" is realized, so that even with this online course, students can still get the learning experience of "learning by doing, learning by using, and learning by experience". Through the study of this course, students can increase their interest in traditional Chinese festivals, deepen their understanding of traditional Chinese culture, and experience traditional Chinese folk customs, festival features and unique charm.
